Dog's faces are remarkably expressive. When we assign human emotions to them,
they’re often quite comical. These faces of (apparent) “doggy doubt”
cannot fail to bring a smile.
Right: Monk, a PBGV (Petit Basset
Griffon Vendéen). Although he tries
to be diplomatic, we can see he’s got
his doubts about the art director.
Left: Here’s Hero, our Cocker Spaniel,
apparently before he adopted his Zen
serenity (previous page); his cheeks seem
puffed with complaint.
Above & left: Feryn, an Airedale Terrier,
is at first a bit dubious, then in full-blown
contempt of the art director’s suggestions. Perhaps she has a better idea?
